Shoko Hara born in June 1988, in Okayama / Japan. At the age of ten, her family moves to Lake Constance in Germany. In 2012, she obtains her Bachelor of Arts in Media Design at the DHBW Ravensburg. Her graduation film „Abita” receives much critical acclaim and is screened at festivals around the world.
With her emphasis on analogue and experimental works in graphic design and art, Shoko Hara moves on to study Motion Design at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg she graduated with the animated short WHAT THEY BELIEVE. Her debut film JUST A GUY was awarded with the Golden Dragon at Krakow IFF 2020, Grand Prize at the Animafest Zagreb 2020, Golden Centaur at Message to Man 2020, among many others, was qualified for the Oscars 2021 and nominated for the German Short Film Award 2020.
Shoko Hara is currently teaching Motion Graphics at the at the DHBW Ravensburg and works as Freelance Motion Designer and Animation Director for commercials spots and music videos.

Volker Schlecht arbeitet als Illustrator, Zeichner und Filmemacher in Berlin. Er hat Kommunikationsdesign an der Burg Giebichenstein Halle studiert, mehrere Jahre als Grafikdesigner bei moniteurs Berlin gearbeitet und als künstlerisch-wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Filmuniversität Konrad Wolf im Studiengang Animation unterrichtet.
Von 2007 bis 2020 lehrte er zeichnerische Grundlagen, Animation und Illustration an der Berliner BTK/University of Europe, seit 2014 als Professor für sequentielle Illustration. Zusammen mit Alexandra Kardinar betreibt er seit 2002 das gemeinsame Label Drushba Pankow. Ihre Illustrationen erschienen in der ZEIT, im Rolling Stone, im New Yorker, bei der Büchergilde Gutenberg, im Wallstein Verlag und in vielen anderen Publikationen. 2019 veröffentlichten sie ihre graphic documentary „Und wenn die Wahrheit mich vernichtet“.
Auch in seinen gezeichneten Kurzfilmen beschäftigt sich Volker Schlecht mit gesellschaftlichen und historischen Themen, zuletzt in „Kaputt“ mit der Zwangsarbeit im zentralen Frauengefängnis der DDR.

Boris Seewald is an award-winning video director based in Berlin, Germany.
He treats video like a visual choreography; composing and arranging images in a rhythmic manner that complements the music and sound.
Drawn to the experimental and unconventional, he uses a variety of techniques in his work, combining abstract animation and mixed media with live action footage.
Having worked in the post-production department as an >editor and >animator for 10 years, he is a multidisciplinary director with a post-processing perspective and knows when to “fix it in post.“
